What is a Salon Suite?
Salon Industry Suites is the latest concept in Booth Rental Salons that provides beauty professionals with the freedom and flexibility of their own private suite. Salon Industry Suites provides an upscale environment that has taken Booth Rental to the next level without expensive overhead.
More specifically we are a collection of mini-salons all under one roof, similar to a doctor’s office building. Each suite is a separate room with a private lockable entrance fully furnished with everything you need to run your own salon.
Why a Mini-Salon Vs. Standard Salon?
With a mini-salon/private practice salon, you don't incur costs that a standard salon carries such as electric, gas and water bills. Also, you won't incur startup costs such as purchasing salon equipment and construction. A mini-salon only requires you to sign a 6 month - 1 year lease vs. a 3-5 year lease which is usually required for commercial & business leases. With a mini-salon you reap the benefits of salon ownership without the expensive overhead of a traditional salon.
What do you need to start up your salon?
You are required to have your cosmetology (master, nail, esthetician) or barbering license from the State of Georgia, Fulton County Business License, Federal Tax Identification Number from the IRS, Salon License from the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology, as well as general & professional liability insurance. Salon Industry Suites will help you get the necessary credentials needed to start your business.
Do you have a lot of walk-in traffic?
S.I.S. was designed for salon professionals who already have a strong client base. While walk-ins are always welcomed to patronize the salons in our complex, it is not feasible for S.I.S. management to market to walk-ins or equitably distribute these patrons to our tenants. That would be a conflict of interest to us and outside of our realm of property management. Our facility is also a security controlled environment for the safety of our tenants who may be working odd hours or are alone in the building. The Call Box located at the entrance does inhibit unexpected traffic and pesky soliciting.
What comes in each Salon Suite?
Each suite is equipped with: 1 telephone jack, 1 Styling Station with Mirror, 1 Styling Chair, 1 Standing Mat, 1 Shampoo bowl with cabinet and Shampoo Chair, 2 dryers with dryer chairs, 1 hi-boy storage cabinet and 1 volume control switch to building sound system.
I have a lot of clients, What if I need access to more than 2 dryers?
Salon Industry Suites provides an overflow dryer area with 8 extra dryers and 1 steamer for your convenience.
What are the hours of operation for the complex?
You have 24 hour access to your salon. The complex is secured by a security controlled access system that allows each tenant full access to his/her suite at any time.
Can I paint my Suite?
Salon Industry Suites offers a selection of paint colors to choose from to paint your suite. Any deviation from these paint colors is not allowed without approval from management, however, feel free to decorate your suite with other things such as pictures, accent furniture, etc.
What do I need to do in order to reserve a suite for my business?
You simply need to obtain an application packet from our leasing manager and then return the completed application with all requested information, documentation and fees. We will hold your suite of choice up to 30 days after we have approved your application. You will be required to sign your lease prior to this deadline or forfeit your reservation, application fee, and 10% of your security deposit.
